This podcast episode is a something I originally recorded in 2017 for the third season of the podcast “You Had Me at Black.” The story didn’t make that season, but Martina Abrahams Ilunga, creator of “You Had Me at Black” graciously gave me the files from our recording session, and I’ve taken the story I shared about my first trip to Dubai and created a mini bonus episode for you.
